Pacha Hits (2011) released!

I've just had word that Blanco Y Negro have just released Pacha Hits (2011) - this is a 3CD set that I mixed with 60 (yes, 60!) tracks, and contains some of the biggest tracks from the last couple of years. CD1 is an all-out, take no prisoners mainroom banger-fest, featuring the likes of Martin Solveig, Steve Angello and Dirty South. CD2 has more of a straight-up house feel to it, with some of my favorite tracks, including Bambola (Tuccillo), Hey Nah Neh Nah (Milk & Sugar Vs. Vaya Con Dios), and my own mix of Jouse Sousa's Dos Gardenias! :) CD3 takes a more Techy/Progressive journey, with yet more great tracks - Nalin & Kane - Beachball (the always-fantasic Joris Voorn mix), The Girl You Lost to Cocaine (Sander Van Doorn) and Mark Knight & Funkagenda's epic Man With the Red Face.

Pacha Ibiza hits Dubai + interview in Khaleej Times

A big thanks to everyone who made it to our Pacha Dubai night at Nasimi Beach Club, you made it an absolutely fantastic night, especially after the venue got hit by sandstorms earlier in the day! Pacha 2011 (Part 1) is #1 in Germany!

I've just had word that Pacha 2011 (Part 1), is currently #1 on the iTunes Germany album charts! As well as having mixed CD1, it finishes up with my original mix of Funk Voltage, alongside such other house music luminaries as Todd Terry, Sander Kleinenberg, Milk & Sugar and Kurd Maverick, which makes it a double-whammy of stokedness for me! Big thanks to everyone who's bought the compilation so far, and to those that haven't, you can purchase it on iTunes and Beatport for those in Germany, and for everyone else from DJTunes.

New night: PEGGED! at Somni, Figuretas

I'm very excited to announce a new night that I'm organizing with a very good friend of mine, Trevor O'Neil which we'll be running at Somni, home to the legendary Rock Nights and Sense in Figuretas, Ibiza. The opening night will be Tuesday 13th July, starting at midnight.

Picking up where Xqueeze Me?! left off, it's going to be a bonanza of great House Music in all it's many and beautiful forms, concentrating on just fantastic music, and amazing party vibes.

Joining myself and Trevor on the decks for the opening night we have some amazing talent, including Dazzla (Pacha, Es Vive, Sands), and Toni French (Atzaro, Cala Conta) as well as my long running partner in crime, DJ Donald! If all this weren't enough, VJ Mie will be joining us from Tokyo, to grace the club with her ultra special flavour of trippy visuals!

Entry is free to all workers, all you have to do is join the facebook group to be put on the list - we'll be having a free pre-party at Coolture Cafe until 3am, and anyone at the pre-party will also be treated to free entry to the main event!

I've just had confirmation from Soul Shift that Every Little Star has been licensed to appear on the Hed Kandi Disco Heaven 2010 mix! Disco Heaven will be released on 5.7.2010, so look out for it then!

Xsqueeze.Me Party - Every Friday @ Guarana

Just confirmed: Starting May 21st, I'll be playing every Friday alongside JP Chronic at Guarana in Sta. Euralia - this is a new party where we intend to take house back to it's roots, and just have a party. No frills, just great music and great company all night long! See You there!!!

Coming Soon: Rufus White & JP Chronic - Funk Voltage

I'm very pleased to finally be able to come clean and announce that Funk Voltage has been picked up by none other than Pacha Recordings!!! Those who know me, know what Pacha means to me, and has done since the moment I stepped into that club for the first time, so I'm definitely not understating the moment here when I say that this is a "Big Deal"© for me :D

This is the first track I've produced in collaboration with JP Chronic, and hopefully the first of many! Currently this one is slated to be included on no less than 3 of the Pacha Summer compilation CDs (Ibiza, UK and Australia), so expect to be hearing a lot of this track!

Coming Soon: DJ Farouche - I Won't Let You (Rufus White & JP Chronic Mix)

Just confirmed as shipping on the release of DJ Farouche's I Won't Let You, this is my second collaboration with fellow Ibiza resident JP Chronic. This mix starts off seemingly quite deep and techy, but after the piano laden breakdown, it explodes into a mainroom monster you can't help but pound the air to. 

This will be released on Miss Moneypenny's records, and Jim Shaft Ryan will be featuring it on Miss Moneypenny's radio tonight!

Coming Soon: This Old Man (clean thoughts only please)

Carrying on where Every Little Star left off, this track keeps the Northen Soul torch burning, giving the original Lou Lawton track a glitched up house rendition with a funky reggae feel, this one is great for playing as you're warming the dancefloor up, and the vocal brings instant feel-good vibes with no extra effort required!

Once again, my thanks go out to Soul Shift Music for releasing this, and the uber-talented producers who've rounded out this release with some seriously great takes on my original:

• The Cheeky Monkey is back - this time supplying some dirty dub stylings. Roots.
• Sebastian Ese once again supplies a slightly deeper house vibe, whilst still retaining some huge bass action. 
• SyblingQ joins us on this release to provide some grindy electro noise and general twanginess. 

I'll let you know as soon as this track is available from all the usual stores!

This is a cheeky little remix of an old Northern Soul track: Linda Scott's I've Told Every Little Star - I made it for those little moments towards the end of the set when you just want to hug the dancefloor!
